Accessibility

The 56 low-floor CAF trams run to Hűvösvölgy, and from there, since the route to Kolorádó is not wheelchair accessible, we can provide a transfer service for wheelchair users upon prior registration. If you want to use this service, email us by June 28 at @email, and we will get in touch with you. Please include your phone number in the email, and let us know which days you will be attending the festival and what type of equipment you will be using.

Address

Nagykovácsi, Sztrilich Pál Scout Park, 2094

Animals

You can bring your pets, but if they endanger the fun and safety of others, we may overrule this. We would suggest you leave it at home, because the music will be loud and the woods are big.

If your pet is a dog, it will be allowed to enter the Kolorádó area if the following conditions are met: a valid vaccination certificate with rabies vaccination no more than one year old, a unique identification (readable tattoo or microchip), a leash, collar, muzzle, a tag with the owner's phone number.

Cabin

Neither a tent nor a yurt, but something much more interesting. With a comfortable mattress, blanket and pillow for two people. With lockable storage for safety. The service includes 1 key per cabin. You can only rent it for the whole 4 days. Camping ticket also included in the cabin ticket. This is a type of accommodation, in itself does not entitle you to festival entry.

Camping / Camping ticket

Camping at the festival is only allowed with a camping pass and only in the designated campsites (inside and outside), otherwise it is strictly forbidden and dangerous. This is a type of accommodation, in itself does not entitle you to festival entry. Camping tickets are per person, not per tent.

Facilities:
Shower
proper toilets
sockets for charging your gadgets

You can read more about the possibilities of renting a cabin in the cabin rental section.

Children and minors

Children under 12 years of age can stay free of charge in the Kolorádó, and under 16 with parental supervision (or written permission from a parent accompanied by an adult). Individuals under the age of 18 will be given a distinctive wristband, as they will not be served alcoholic beverages. Minors who are on the premises after 10pm without parental supervision may be removed.

Cold

We're far from the city, in the countryside, so be prepared with layers! In our experience, it's 5-10 degrees colder in Kolorádó at night than downtown. The weather is changeable, so be prepared with both waterproof and summer clothing!

Full house / Sold out

If you've bought a pass, you're free to go - but keep an eye on our news, because if it sells out, we may not be able to let you back in soon.

Gastronomy and food

In Kolorádó, diversity is not only in the community and the programmes, but also in the gastronomic offer:

Meraki - An untranslatable Greek way of life and an authentic Greek food bar.

Toldi - The cinema-club-bistro serves delicious paninos, hot sandwiches, new wave coffee and cakes.

Badogbulldog - Grill, freshly roasted food, burgers - ultimate comfort food.

Nyárikonyha X Domovoj - Domovoj, the house-elf, has taken over the Summer Kitchen and created what he creates: sustainable vegan fusion cuisine with wonder food and fermented delicacies.

Koffi - Morning wake ups, coffee specialities in all quantities.

Flatprank - Pancakes and classic ice cream for the July heat.

Dzsúzolda - A vitamin boost during a festival! Find all kinds of themed and nutritious treats here.

PizzaBéTé - You already know them, and their pizza is just too good.

Lángosos - We are Hungarians, we want lángos, in several versions.

PokeBowl - Refreshing vegan and pescatarian bowls.

Mumush - Veggie and vegan delicacies from the hidden corners of Mures County.

Etető - Nutritious soups and other daily snacks at affordable prices.

Getting home

In Kolorádó, there is no signal, and time disappears. It feels good to leave the responsibility and planning outside for a while. So it's worth planning your trip home as soon as possible so that you don't have to worry about it on Sunday morning.

Kolorádó Bus: The last Kolorádó bus to Hűvösvölgy will leave the festival on Sunday morning at 11:00, if you want to travel with it, arrive at the bus stop at 10:00 at the latest.

GreenGo: From the GreenGo car park you can start a rental at any time during the festival and roll out of Kolorádó. Kolorádó Parking Zone is available until 18:00 on 07/07/2024. Drive very carefully on the way home!

FEXI Taxi: You can take a FEXI taxi home from Kolorádó every day between 21:00 and 09:00. At this point you will not be able to call a car from another company, but taxis will be waiting at the taxi rank and an on-site coordinator will assist you on your way home.

Bike: If you come with this, please make sure to take your bike by Sunday morning 8:00 AM the latest so our staff can start disassembling.

Plan ahead, get home safe and sound!

Getting there

The most important question is how to get to Kolorádó. For clarity, we have put all the important details on a separate page: https://kolorado.hu/en/getting-there

GreenGo

The most environmentally friendly four-wheel solution to get to the festival is the GreenGo car-sharing service. If you don’t have the app yet, download the GreenGo app, register, and you’re ready to drive an electric car to Kolorádó. Our parking lot has a dedicated GreenGo parking area where you can end and also begin your rental.

Infopoint

The Infopult is a shooting star in the drunken night. If you're having trouble, if you can't find something, if you're not sure about something, the angels at the desk will help you. And you can also buy useful things here: tick holders, earplugs or mosquito repellent.

Lost and found

You can ask about lost belongings at the Infopoint during the festival, and if you find something lost, bring it here too. After the festival you can enquire on our Facebook page.

Nature

Please don't litter. Kolorádó is kept clean by volunteers and scouts, but you can help too. We have cigarette butt holders, we distribute garbage bags to campers, and we place garbage cans in many places. Please remind your friends of this if they do not do so. Protect trees, bushes and flowers as your best friends!

Opening hours

Kolorádó 2024 opens on Wednesday 3 July at 4 pm and closes on Sunday 7 July at 8 am.

Payment

No cash payment within the festival area. You can only pay by contactless debit card or Festipay card. You can get a Festipay card once you entered the festival area. However, at the ticket counter you can use both cash and card to exchange and top up your Festipay card. You can only redeem your card in person until 12:00 on Sunday.

Prohibited and recommended objects

DO NOT BRING, AS IT IS FORBIDDEN: alcohol or drugs, no matter what. Also, commercial quantities of food and drink and glassware larger than 100 millilitres. All such items must be handed over for safekeeping at the entrance. No large quantities of prescription or other medications, please only bring the dosage needed for your stay at the festival. In the case of prescription medication, be sure to have a doctor’s note with you. It is also forbidden to bring objects dangerous to public safety, flammable materials and pyrotechnics.

Some examples: camping gas, hookah, perfume or glass bottles or any glass containers larger than 100 ml, small knives, large knives, camping knives, metal cutlery, etc. These will not be allowed into the festival, but you can put them in the deposit box at the entrance for a fee. It is important that you get your stuff out of the deposit box before the festival closes (08:00 on Sunday morning), as we will not be able to take responsibility for it after that time. If you are not sure about something, ask instead.

DO BRING, AS IT IS USEFUL: flashlights, head lamps, warm clothing, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, sleeping bags, duvets, pillows, balls, frisbees, sunglasses, wooden/plastic cutlery. These will never be confiscated, and it’s quite useful to have them.

RV / Camper

Caravans are not allowed to enter the festival area or the official campsite, but a special area close to the festival will be provided for caravan visitors. This type of ticket only entitles you to drive in and park your caravan once and use the electricity continuously, so it does not include the privileges of a camping ticket. If you would like to use the toilets and shower containers, you will need to purchase a separate camping pass. This is a type of accommodation, in itself does not entitle you to festival entry.

Safety

Respect each other and listen to each other. We have no room for hatred, discrimination or harassment. Kolorádó is a peaceful, friendly place where everyone feels safe. If you are experiencing any problems or simply feel uncomfortable about something, please feel free to contact us!

What kind of problems are we talking about? In short: any kind, but here are a few examples:

If you have lost something valuable.
If a friend or stranger is feeling unwell.
If someone is harassing you.
If you have a conflict with someone working in Kolorádó or perhaps another guest.

Psyhelp staff, along with volunteer psychologists, are waiting for you if you need help. Otherwise, they will quietly patrol the festival, making sure that no one is left alone if they need something/someone. There are problems for which the Infopoint is not enough, and medical care is not necessarily the answer.

Watch out for the physical safety of festival-goers, take care of each other and report any health problems immediately to the ambulance staff available 0-24 in the festival area. You can find the exact location of the health service on the map.

There is no place for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism or any form of exclusion in Kolorádó. Together we are diverse, that is what makes us strong.

Safety deposit box

This year, we will be working with Locky to guard your valuables. You will find a storage points in several places at the festival, at the entrance, around the Infopoint and at the campsite. You can find the exact locations on the map. These safety deposti machines are automatic and only work with credit cards. If you have a larger package (e.g. a tent - folded up, of course) you can also use the traditional deposit at the Infopult. The hourly rate is 350 HUF, but you can also buy a 12-hour discounted pass. You can find details of how to use the Locky-operated lockers and the rules and conditions of use at the Locky lockers and on their website: https://locky.hu

We take responsibility for items placed in a traditional safe deposit box up to a maximum value of 50 000 HUF. The charge is 3000 HUF per deposit and operates until 08:00 on Sunday morning. Don't forget to take your items out before closing time, as we can't take responsibility for them after that.

Signal

There is no reception in Kolorádó. Before you arrive, download or print your ticket, because there is REALLY NO reception. But at least there is absolute freedom!

Ticket sale / Ticketswap

Our secondary ticketing partner is Ticketswap. If you're looking to sell your tickets or want to make a secure second-hand purchase, we recommend using Ticketswap.

We will take action against ticket counterfeiters and those involved in counterfeiting. All tickets are uniquely numbered and copy-protected, which we will check.

Tickets

You can only enter and stay in Kolorádó with a valid wristband, which you will receive in exchange for your ticket at the entrance. To redeem your ticket, make sure you keep the ticket you originally bought! Your wristband will be checked by the organizers at the entrance and exit of the event and at all times in the Kolorádó area. If you are not wearing one or it is invalid, you are obliged to leave the festival area. And take care of it, because if you leave Kolorádó with a torn or damaged wristband, we cannot guarantee that you will be allowed back into the festival at the entrance, and we are not liable for any inconvenience caused.

Day tickets are valid until 10am the next day.

Two-day ticket

A two-day pass allows one person to enter and stay for two consecutive programme days. A two-day pass is valid only for the programme days indicated in the name of the ticket type and cannot be used to change or modify the entitlements it confers. Two-day passes are valid until 10 a.m. on the day following the day of the events (for example, a two-day pass for Wednesday-Thursday will allow you to stay at the festival until 10 a.m. on Friday).

Water

We know that concerts, dancing and good vibes can sometimes distract us from drinking water, but in Kolorádó we think of each other and ourselves! Alcohol can quickly dehydrate the body and lead to a variety of unpleasant symptoms, especially in hot weather, so hydration is especially important. In Kolorádó, we provide this possibility by designating free water drinking points. Here you can always get fresh water, and we recommend that you always have a glass of water between two alcoholic drinks. That way you can enjoy every minute of the festival, up to four days.
