You can bring your pets, but if they endanger the fun and safety of others, we may overrule this. We would suggest you leave it at home, because the music will be loud and the woods are big.
If your pet is a dog, it will be allowed to enter the Kolorádó area if the following conditions are met: a valid vaccination certificate with rabies vaccination no more than one year old, a unique identification (readable tattoo or microchip), a leash, collar, muzzle, a tag with the owner's phone number.
Neither a tent nor a yurt, but something much more interesting. With a comfortable mattress, blanket and pillow for two people. With lockable storage for safety. The service includes 1 key per cabin. You can only rent it for the whole 4 days. Camping ticket also included in the cabin ticket. This is a type of accommodation, in itself does not entitle you to festival entry.
Camping at the festival is only allowed with a camping pass and only in the designated campsites (inside and outside), otherwise it is strictly forbidden and dangerous. This is a type of accommodation, in itself does not entitle you to festival entry. Camping tickets are per person, not per tent.
Facilities:
Shower
proper toilets
sockets for charging your gadgets
You can read more about the possibilities of renting a cabin in the cabin rental section.
Children under 12 years of age can stay free of charge in the Kolorádó, and under 16 with parental supervision (or written permission from a parent accompanied by an adult). Individuals under the age of 18 will be given a distinctive wristband, as they will not be served alcoholic beverages. Minors who are on the premises after 10pm without parental supervision may be removed.
We're far from the city, in the countryside, so be prepared with layers! In our experience, it's 5-10 degrees colder in Kolorádó at night than downtown. The weather is changeable, so be prepared with both waterproof and summer clothing!
If you've bought a pass, you're free to go - but keep an eye on our news, because if it sells out, we may not be able to let you back in soon.
The most important question is how to get to Kolorádó. For clarity, we have put all the important details on a separate page: https://kolorado.hu/en/getting-there
You can ask about lost belongings at the Infopoint during the festival, and if you find something lost, bring it here too. After the festival you can enquire on our Facebook page.
Please don't litter. Kolorádó is kept clean by volunteers and scouts, but you can help too. We have cigarette butt holders, we distribute garbage bags to campers, and we place garbage cans in many places. Please remind your friends of this if they do not do so. Protect trees, bushes and flowers as your best friends!
Kolorádó 2024 opens on Wednesday 3 July at 4 pm and closes on Sunday 7 July at 8 am.
DO NOT BRING, AS IT IS FORBIDDEN: alcohol or drugs, no matter what. Also, commercial quantities of food and drink and glassware larger than 100 millilitres. All such items must be handed over for safekeeping at the entrance. No large quantities of prescription or other medications, please only bring the dosage needed for your stay at the festival. In the case of prescription medication, be sure to have a doctor’s note with you. It is also forbidden to bring objects dangerous to public safety, flammable materials and pyrotechnics.
Some examples: camping gas, hookah, perfume or glass bottles or any glass containers larger than 100 ml, small knives, large knives, camping knives, metal cutlery, etc. These will not be allowed into the festival, but you can put them in the deposit box at the entrance for a fee. It is important that you get your stuff out of the deposit box before the festival closes (08:00 on Sunday morning), as we will not be able to take responsibility for it after that time. If you are not sure about something, ask instead.
DO BRING, AS IT IS USEFUL: flashlights, head lamps, warm clothing, mosquito repellent, sunscreen, sleeping bags, duvets, pillows, balls, frisbees, sunglasses, wooden/plastic cutlery. These will never be confiscated, and it’s quite useful to have them.
Caravans are not allowed to enter the festival area or the official campsite, but a special area close to the festival will be provided for caravan visitors. This type of ticket only entitles you to drive in and park your caravan once and use the electricity continuously, so it does not include the privileges of a camping ticket. If you would like to use the toilets and shower containers, you will need to purchase a separate camping pass. This is a type of accommodation, in itself does not entitle you to festival entry.
Respect each other and listen to each other. We have no room for hatred, discrimination or harassment. Kolorádó is a peaceful, friendly place where everyone feels safe. If you are experiencing any problems or simply feel uncomfortable about something, please feel free to contact us!
What kind of problems are we talking about? In short: any kind, but here are a few examples:
If you have lost something valuable.
If a friend or stranger is feeling unwell.
If someone is harassing you.
If you have a conflict with someone working in Kolorádó or perhaps another guest.
Psyhelp staff, along with volunteer psychologists, are waiting for you if you need help. Otherwise, they will quietly patrol the festival, making sure that no one is left alone if they need something/someone. There are problems for which the Infopoint is not enough, and medical care is not necessarily the answer.
Watch out for the physical safety of festival-goers, take care of each other and report any health problems immediately to the ambulance staff available 0-24 in the festival area. You can find the exact location of the health service on the map.
There is no place for racism, homophobia, transphobia, sexism or any form of exclusion in Kolorádó. Together we are diverse, that is what makes us strong.
There is no reception in Kolorádó. Before you arrive, download or print your ticket, because there is REALLY NO reception. But at least there is absolute freedom!
Our secondary ticketing partner is Ticketswap. If you're looking to sell your tickets or want to make a secure second-hand purchase, we recommend using Ticketswap.
We will take action against ticket counterfeiters and those involved in counterfeiting. All tickets are uniquely numbered and copy-protected, which we will check.
You can only enter and stay in Kolorádó with a valid wristband, which you will receive in exchange for your ticket at the entrance. To redeem your ticket, make sure you keep the ticket you originally bought! Your wristband will be checked by the organizers at the entrance and exit of the event and at all times in the Kolorádó area. If you are not wearing one or it is invalid, you are obliged to leave the festival area. And take care of it, because if you leave Kolorádó with a torn or damaged wristband, we cannot guarantee that you will be allowed back into the festival at the entrance, and we are not liable for any inconvenience caused.
Day tickets are valid until 10am the next day.
A two-day pass allows one person to enter and stay for two consecutive programme days. A two-day pass is valid only for the programme days indicated in the name of the ticket type and cannot be used to change or modify the entitlements it confers. Two-day passes are valid until 10 a.m. on the day following the day of the events (for example, a two-day pass for Wednesday-Thursday will allow you to stay at the festival until 10 a.m. on Friday).
