GETTING THERE

The festival is held in the Sztrilich Pál Scout Park in Adyliget, near Nagykovácsi in the Buda hills, surrounded by forests and meadows. You can reach the festival in various ways: by festival bus (from Hűvösvölgy and also Széll Kálmán Square), by GreenGo, public transport, bike, taxi, car, even on foot and for festival-goers with mobility issues, we can provide special transfer services based upon prior registration.

PINGRUMBA SZÉLLVÉSZ EXPRESS FROM SZÉLL KÁLMÁN SQUARE

This year, we are introducing a new fast travel option: from Széll Kálmán Square directly to the festival entrance. You can arrive at the festival comfortably, quickly, in air-conditioned buses. This bus service only operates between Széll Kálmán Square - Kolorádó. To return from the festival, you can use the regular Kolorádó transfer bus to Hűvösvölgy. Tickets for the Pingrumba (Széll Kálmán Square) - Kolorádó Festival entrance direct route are limited and require timeslot and seat reservations. Get your tickets and more information here.

Daily departure times from Pingrumba, from Thursday to Sunday: 15:00, 16:45, 18:30, 20:15, 22:00. It’s advisable to plan your trip in advance and buy your ticket if you want to take the Pingrumba Széllvész Express, as tickets are filling up quickly. If you book now, you can save some money as ticket prices will rise from 4000 HUF to 4500 HUF during the festival week.

KOLORÁDÓ TRANSFER BUS FROM HŰVÖSVÖLGY

The Kolorádó Buses depart from the Hűvösvölgy bus terminal. You can get there easily by tram 56A or 61 (or with their replacement buses), or by bus 63 during the day, and bus 956 or 963 at night.

You can purchase tickets for the Kolorádó Bus at the newsstand in the middle of the Hűvösvölgy bus terminal. Don’t forget to buy your ticket or bus pass here, as you won’t be able to purchase one at the actual bus stop (about 30 meters away), nor from the bus driver. This bus will take you directly to the festival entrance. The ticket price for the route between Hűvösvölgy and the festival entrance is 2000 HUF, but you can also buy a bus pass for unlimited travel to and from the festival for 8000 HUF. If you make your way to the Kolorádó Parking Zone (GPS coordinates: 47.541438, 18.934909), you can continue your journey with the Shuttle service, which connects the parking lot and the festival entrance. The shuttle bus ticket price from the Parking Zone to the festival route is 1500 HUF. Both the Kolorádó Bus and the Shuttle Bus operate 24/7 throughout the festival. During peak times, buses run every 15 minutes, and during off-peak times, the wait can be around 20-30 minutes. At peak times, if many people arrive at once, you might not all fit on the bus, so please be patient. This year, we have increased the number of buses, will continuously monitor traffic, and strive to meet your needs. However, for the most comfortable travel experience, we recommend arriving early, before the major concerts. Last day: The last Kolorádó bus heading towards Hűvösvölgy will leave the festival on Sunday morning at 11:00 AM. If you plan to take this bus, please arrive at the stop by 10:00 AM at the latest.

GREENGO

The most environmentally friendly four-wheel solution to get to the festival is the GreenGo car-sharing service. If you don’t have the app yet, download the GreenGo app, register, and you’re ready to drive an electric car to Kolorádó. Our parking lot has a dedicated GreenGo parking area where you can end and also begin your rental.

BIKE

Ride your bike! The distance from Széll Kálmán Square is 12 km. Keep in mind that the route goes through the Buda hills, so you will feel the inclines. The road can be rough in places, with potholes and gravel - so consider the terrain, thin-wheeled road bikes might struggle. You can bike all the way to the festival, where you can leave your bike at the bike rack near the staff parking zone (by the hunter’s lookout). Please make sure to take your bike by Sunday morning 8:00 AM the latest so our staff can start disassembling. The bike parking is free, but we can’t take responsibility for locked bikes.

CAR

GPS coordinates: 47.541438, 18.934909

With a car or other motorized vehicle, you can drive to the Kolorádó parking lot, from where you can walk or take the shuttle bus to the festival entrance. Parking costs 3000 HUF per vehicle per entry. The shuttle bus ticket from the parking lot to the festival entrance is 1500 HUF.

WALK / NATURE TRAIL

Choose the pleasant walking route and breathe along with nature! What can you expect? A green route, a short hike, and a border-crossing point for phone reception. Be sure to have a flashlight (or anything that lights up) if you’re walking after dark.

TAXI

Our partners this year are FEXI and Főtaxi. If you want to travel conveniently between your home and the festival entrance, these options are for you.

Getting to Kolorádó by Főtaxi and FEXI Taxi: call a car via the Főtaxi or Fexi app (you can find the apps in the App Store, Google Play, but also via the links fotaxi.hu and fexi.hu). This way, you can get to the festival with fixed Budapest taxi rates.

For returning home from Kolorádó, our partner is FEXI: a FEXI taxi stand awaits at the bus and taxi stop near the festival entrance. You can get home with a FEXI taxi from 21:00 to 09:00 every day. You won’t be able to call a car from other companies to this point, but taxis will be waiting at the stand, and a coordinator on-site will assist with your departure. FEXI operates with the following rates: Base fare: 1500 HUF, kilometer rate: 700 HUF/km, waiting: 175 HUF/min. This means the maximum fare will be as follows: Kolorádó - Széll Kálmán Square 11900 HUF, Kolorádó - Nyugati Railway Station 12900 HUF, Kolorádó - Móricz Zsigmond Square 13900 HUF. You can choose any destination, but we’ve provided some popular examples for price transparency. The maximum fares are calculated door-to-door. They apply if the route is not interrupted or modified at the passenger’s request. Apart from Főtaxi and FEXI, other taxi services cannot drive to the festival entrance; they can only go to our parking lot. If you come with another taxi company, your options to get to the entrance from the parking lot are our Shuttle bus service or going by the Nature Trail. We aim to make your taxi ride as transparent and predictable as possible. Our partner strives for smooth operations, but if you encounter any issues during your trip or payment, please inform us immediately at info @ kolorado dot hu, preferably with the exact route, time, and license plate number. Always ask the driver for the "slejfni" (the confirmation slip from the taxi meter) to help us investigate the matter as quickly as possible.

ACCESSIBILITY FOR THE DISABLED

The 56 low-floor CAF trams run to Hűvösvölgy, and from there, since the route to Kolorádó is not wheelchair accessible, we can provide a transfer service for wheelchair users upon prior registration. If you want to use this service, email us by June 28 at @email, and we will get in touch with you. Please include your phone number in the email, and let us know which days you will be attending the festival and what type of equipment you will be using.

We will publish the accessible routes within the festival after all structures have been built, which will be passable with wheelchairs, strollers, as well as for elderly and mobility-impaired individuals.

Travel safely, avoid accidents, and be kind to each other. See you in Kolorádó!
