Right now, everything is still uncertain, but we hope this will not be the end but the beginning of something new. To carry this magic forward, we are looking for a new location. A place where we can not only host a festival but also build a community for the long term.
We dream of a shared forest, a lake, a shaded place perfect for chasing sunrises. Kolorádó is, at its core, a music festival, so it is important that the new location is far from residential areas so we will not disturb those seeking rest, especially at night.
- At least 1.5 kilometers from any residential area (terrain can influence this in either a positive or negative way)
- Preferably privately or municipally owned
- We are thinking in terms of a long-term lease (or potentially a purchase). Our dream is a location that can be developed and built upon, one that we can be good stewards of and leave in better shape than we found it
- Great if it can host events more than once a year
- Bonus if there are several buildings on the site, as well as electricity, water, and a sewage system
- Ideally, there is a lake, though this is not a requirement
- No problem if there is no mobile reception ;-)
If you know someone who owns such a property in Hungary, have been wild camping in an amazing spot or have hiked through an area you could imagine as the future Kolorádó, write to us at @email with the subject line: KOLÓHELYSZÍN.
This year, our air-conditioned shuttle buses will take you straight from Széll Kálmán Square, in front of the Pingrumba restaurant, directly to the festival entrance. The Hűvösvölgy bus stop is no longer in use, Kolorádó buses will not depart from there this year. Shuttle tickets are only available online, in advance, here: www.kolorado.hu/buszjegy
