Etro Melede
Etro Melede is an improvisational concert performance made and performed by Katalin Bitó and Anna Makay (MA’AM). Their ritual-like performance was developed through improvisational sessions what is on the border of a concert and a dance performance. It has a subtile community or interactive quality. The audience practically and actively never becomes part of the happenings, but gets out from the passively receptive state and becomes active in the sence of experience and empathy. This is due to the ritual nature of the performance. The performers pass on to those present what speaks up in them from a depersonalized state.
